How to Get Accurate Clearance Dimensions Measurements

Getting proper clearance dimension measurements is critical to ensure that you receive the correct frame type.

HORIZONTAL DISTANCE
VERTICAL DISTANCE
Vehicle has spare tire or ladder
Vehicle has rear doors
Horizontal distance from hitch to spare tire.
Vertical distance from hitch to spare tire.
Vertical distance from hitch to rear doors.
Measure the horizontal distance fom the center of the hitch pin hole to the outer edge of the spare tire or ladder.
Measure the vertical distance fom the top of the inside opening of the hitch to the bottom of the spare tire.
Measure the vertical distance from the top inside of the hitch to the bottom of the rear doors.
 
*Use whichever vertical dimension is smallest.
