Hitch Ski Carrier
Introducing the StowAway Hitch mounted Ski Carrier for transporting skis, surfboards and commercial gear. The Ski Carrier addresses a common problem experienced with door mounted carriers, namely structural damage to the rear door of the shuttle van, and the resulting repairs.
The StowAway Ski Carrier is designed for mounting on the SB Swingaway frame (not included) that slides into a 2" hitch receiver. The carrier will transport up to 200 lbs of gear while allowing clear access to the back of the van for gear inside. The compact design will allow the van's right rear door to be opened with the carrier in the closed position and the left rear door to be opened when the carrier is swung open to 90 degrees. In the open position you will have access to both sides of the van's cargo area.
Manufactured in the USA with heavy duty steel tubing, the Ski Carrier is powder coated to inhibit corrosion. The carrier attached to a SB Swingaway frame will fit a 2" hitch receiver and includes a hitch tightener to prevent hitch wobble.

For orders within the lower 48 states, we ship with either FedEx or USPS ground.

StowAway orders ship to Alaska via Span Alaska and generally take 7 to 10 business days.
Shipping costs to Alaska generally range from $100 to $200, depending on the product. Orders ship to the closest port via barge.
We generally ship smaller items to Alaska by U.S. Mail.
